It's Indie April!

If you didn't know, April is Indie Author Month. I would say that 99.99999999% of my reading is indie authors (I think it's really 100%, but just in case...) I read indie authors long before I became one myself. There are so many great stories out there, especially ones that don't deal with "mainstream" main characters or plots.

Of course, if you're here, you already read indie books! But I thought I'd take a moment to share some of my favorite indie authors through the years. I'm a bit of a mood reader, so some of these are older recommendations. They are all indie (although some authors listed do both indie and trad publishing). If I couldn't confirm they were indie, I did not add them to this list, so I have many more author recommendations!
